Is this for a party you are throwing for someone else?

I second Sqwiggy's question. If this is for you, then you shouldn't be planning it. Someone needs to throw you a bachlorette party. You shouldn't ask anyone to throw you one either. Is this for someone else?

Hi Becky! What does the bride like to do? There are lots of fun silly bachelorette games that cost nothing.

What is the bride into? Does she like to party or more low key? Does she like to drink or cook? Is she down to try new things?

Make sure they want one. I absolutely have no desire to have one and have made it clear. If we do anything it'll be a joint day at the beach with the whole wedding party.

Where does everyone live? I would suggest do something local so no one has to pay for flights.

Thanks for the ideas! They help a lot. The party is for me and my matrons of honor have asked me what I wanted and I didn't have an answer. The location is in south/central Wisconsin.

What about a wine and canvas thing? We took my friend to drag queen Bingo and that was a blast! Wine tastings are fun as well.

I've been having the same issue. I'm not a drinker so the bar is not an option for me so I've been thinking about a theme park like kings dominion instead.

I just briefly looked at stuff to do in Wisconsin. Maybe rent a nice cabin if you have enough people to make it cheaper, check out some natural attractions and dinner/drinks after at a local bar?

Really, a bachelorette party can be anything you like. We had one at Dave & Buster's (dinner and arcade games), and one at a traditional Korean bathhouse. My son's bachelor party was Korean barbecue. Think about things you like to do, and go from there.

Personally a friendly Pure Romance fun party is always a fabulous choice!

You could go to a Brewers game or Mallards game. There's a laser tag place in Madison that you could go to followed by a night out.

For mine, we went to a beer festival (ticket was $25 and came with unlimited samples of beer) and then bowling (I think this was also about $25 pp). Some of us also went to karaoke afterward, which cost a lot more because we were drinking a lot, but the first part of the night was relatively inexpensive.

My maids and I are going to a winery in Seneca Lake, NY for two nights. Smiley smile They are throwing the party, so I don't know any specifics about the cost--but my MOH/sister assured me that splitting the cost between the 5-6 of them was very affordable.

I had a guilt panic attack about how much other people are spending on me during this process, so she was trying to make me feel better about the cost without telling me the prices of everything.
