Bachelorette Party Cost

Sarah, on July 22, 2020 at 6:50 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 13
I have no bridesmaids just a maid honor. We are looking at doing a rental with a pool and hot tub a month before the wedding for my wedding with 12 of my closest girls. What is an appropriate price for a two night rental per person not including food?

Whatever she can afford. You should ask your MOH about her budget.

Sorry, I just realized I read the post wrong. You should ask whoever will be participating.

I agree with PP that the best thing is to ask the participants what they are most comfortable with spending and then try to find something within that price range

That sounds pretty reasonable to me personally. Is that literally just for Airbnb or hotel and they’re sharing bedrooms?

I would speak to each girl individually about what they can afford to spend. What one person deems reasonable might not be reasonable to someone else.

Airbnb that has a pool and hot tub. Some people might have to share a bed. Which would be myself and sister and two cousins

I reserved an Airbnb for my friends and I the night before the wedding and for them night of wedding. What I did is I created a Facebook group and sent people links to ones I found that were good, and included the prices for both nights. I just asked whomever wanted to stay there overnight instead of a hotel to let me know which house they preferred. They all liked the same house, it ended up being $150 per person for 2 nights. So I think your pricing is very reasonable but I would definitely check in with everyone!

You are the guest of honor so traditionally you just show up and the hostess covers all your expenses. She would consult with other guests as to what they can afford, including food costs. $120 pp seems reasonable. Check airbnb or vrbo.com

I'd send a group text & see what people are thinking. Typically for a two night bachelorette, I pay $100-$250 for my share (usually 5-10 women total). Then we all just pay for our own food or split who brings what.

Thank you! I just wanted to make sure I wasn't asking to much my moh and sister said the only planning I'm aloud to help with is the location 😂. I just wanted to sure I wasn't asking too much

Personally, I think $135 per person is pretty reasonable for a two night rental. But you should ask the girls you’re inviting what they can afford before booking anything. I was invited to a bachelorette once and was pressured into giving a definite answer despite me repeatedly saying money was tight and I needed to know the per person cost first. They said they needed a yes from me first and then they would figure out costs later. Then they went ahead and booked a house and picked an expensive flight without consulting anyone else and it was above what I could spend. My whole point with that story is be up front with the costs from the beginning.
