Bachelorette Party-disney Springs

Nicole, on January 5, 2020 at 12:01 AM Posted in Florida Planning 0 7
Has anyone ever had their bachelorette party go down to Disney springs for a night? If so, what did you do? I have a mix of friends who want to drink, do not want to drink or be in a club setting, or can not get into clubs, but I also don’t want to walk around without having something to do there!

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Nicole!

Disney Springs sounds like a fun destination for a bachelorette. I’ve never been personally.

Are you planning the itinerary for the day/night yourself? What is it that you want to do on the trip?

I’m working with my MOH! I have friends in my bridal party who are 18-23 so finding something for everyone to be able to do is getting difficult.

I wouldn’t recommend Disney springs it more of a mall now and definitely filled with children.
City walk (Universal’s version of Disney Spring) it is more of the environment your looking for. There are multiple sections and opened till 2am restaurants, Clubs , Karaoke restaurant (Highly recommend) and my favorite part Fat Tuesday’s. Definitely a good mix for all ages .

If you are thinking CityWalk, definitely do some research based on the age of your group. During the week, some of the clubs are 18+ but I'm pretty sure almost all of them are 21+ on Friday and Saturday. I know Rising Star the karaoke bar is!

In terms of things to do at Springs, it really is a lot of shopping, restaurants and bars. They have the characters in flight hot air balloon, splitsville bowling, and the void which is a VR experience.
If you're wanting to do something on Disney property you can do a monorail bar/cupcake crawl or a progressive dinner (apps at one resort, main meal at the next, desserts at the last). Additionally almost all the bars on disney property allow under 21 before 8 or so and have mocktails available for those who can't/choose not to drink!!

I would suggest elsewhere as well. It's a drinking crowd in the evening and a kid zone during the day. You could do a nice dinner and catch the Cirque show? Let me know if you want other suggestions too.

Discovery Cove is an awesome park to go to. They cap the attendees and it feels more private. Downtown Universal is fun too. It's one of my favorite parks and then at night it has a party vibe open to all. The waterparks are also super fun to visit!

International Drive has a lot of attractions, bowling, arcades, big restaurants, live music joints. See if there are any shows around your trip time. Downtown Orlando proper is a bit sparse and I wouldn't per say walk around without a destination in mind. Winter park is also a cute town to visit, but a day trip type. Best of luck in your planning!
