Bachelorette Party... Help!

Tayler, on March 4, 2020 at 2:55 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 6

Me and my bridesmaids are trying to find a fun place that is full of things to do other than go drinking. We were thinking Myrtle Beach but it's becoming really expensive, and i'm not seeing much to do but bar hop around.. There is 4 bridesmaids, so we would have 5 people. I was thinking no more than a 9 hour drive to wherever we go (We are from Columbus, OH). We planned on spending a long weekend there, August 20-23! Any ideas? I've been throwing around the idea of Chicago, Nashville, Virginia Beach, Maine.. If ya'll have any tips it'd be greatly appreciated!

Atlantic City ... and Vegas ... you can get cheap hotel rooms from Groupon in Vegas for 30$ a night and if you choose Vegas you can get 250$ round trip if you buy now.

Lol ironically, I live in Ohio and me and my bridesmaids are going to Columbus for my bachelorette party 😂 but there's Geneva on the Lake or Put in Bay. A friend of mine went to Kalahari for hers. But if you really want to leave Ohio, try Virginia Beach and try to find something on Airbnb maybe.

If you’re willing to go to Maine, Portland is super fun in the summer! Lots to do here.

I live in Richmond, VA and tbh I would NOT suggest VA Beach. There isn't a lot to do there, the boardwalk is a lot of cheap rando shops, the beach is public and is ALWAYS super crowded. I'm only an hour and a half from there and I would MUCH rather drive 4-5 hours to OBX and go to the beach there.

Nashville is AWESOME (i've been twice) but its gonna be SUPER hot and I'm sure that can get just as expensive, if not more than Myrtle Beach. I'd try an airbnb there. They did just have those tornadoes so it might be difficult to book something right NOW.

Have you thought about Gatlinburg TN?
