Bachelorette party ideas

Emma, on July 30, 2020 at 4:09 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 20
My MOH is asking what I’d like to do for my bachelorette party. I am 20 so no bars. I’m pretty lost as to what to do.

Is there anything that you’ve always wanted to do? For instance some thing on your bucket list? I am not really into the bar and club scene so I wanted to do some thing adventurous. So for my bachelorette we went horseback trail riding

Someone that I know had her friends all purchase prom dresses from Goodwill and they all went bowling while wearing them for her bachelorette party! Otherwise, you could do a paint night, or rent an Airbnb and go on a trip somewhere for the weekend, or go camping for the weekend, etc. Plenty of options! I like Melle's idea of horseback riding!

Honestly not really. I would say zip lining but me and FH are doing that for the first time on our honeymoon.
Part of me was just thinking to have a slumber party

That sounds fun but also stressful! 😂 I don’t really like standing out in normal day things

A slumber party sounds really cool too - could do some at home spa stuff and movies and games

I would but I really don’t want to travel. Honestly we’ll probably do it at my MOH house!
Though we are renting a air bnb the weekend of the wedding! Me and my MOH will stay there the day before the wedding and my and FH the night of!

Do an old fashioned sleepover at a fancy hotel with a spa and treat yourselves to a spa day. Watch cheesy movies and have your favorite foods delivered room service

We did dinner at one of the bride’s favorite restaurants, a paint nite private event, and ended the night at a hookah bar (which you can totally ignore) for my best friend when I was her moh. Most of the people who came only stayed for dinner and the paint nite. Very few went to the hookah bar.
Think about some of your favorite things to do.
And make sure if there is something you are adamantly against that you share that information too. The line I drew with my party was no strippers/dancers. I have no interest in that kind of thing.

What do you like to normal do with friends when you hang out? I'd just do that for the Bachelorette party. You don't need the bar or strip club scene to have a great Bachelorette party. We are doing an all day thing with the girls. We are going to the spa early in the day, then doing a small boat ride for an hour and then later in the night we are going to Dave and busters to have dinner and play games. I'm 29 and can do the bar scene stuff but I have a bridesmaid who will only be 13 and I don't want to celebrate if she isn't included. So that's why we decided to do it that way instead of bar hopping. Plus the great thing with Dave and busters is that there is a bar in case my bridesmaids over 21 do want to drink.

We went camping and tuned down the river for my friends bachelorette party. It was super fun and we got to talk and hangout a lot more than if we would’ve gone out!

A few weeks ago, someone was talking about doing a zoo day, which just sounded like a lot of fun!

Pre-COVID, we were doing axe throwing and dinner. I’ve seen people do spa -bnb, paint party, ceramics make your own thing, bbq, s’mores, drive in movIe or backyard movie. I’m older but not a big drinker and we plan on having bbq with games etc as it’s hard to go out.

I don’t really drink, so I told my ladies that I just want a spa day, nice lunch together, and maybe a movie night complete with junk food!

Spa day! Either a day spa, or mani/pedis followed by brunch.

20 year old here too! I'm also a huge introvert so big groups is a no no! I doubt my maids are planning anything (ughhh) but if I was to have one I would love to get in pjs or bach shirts and have a lingerie party with silly games and watching cheesy movies and lots of treats! Something else I thought would be so fun would be roller skating before and inviting the moms and my flower girl to join us for a family friendly part before the 18+ party lol
