Bachelorette Party June 2021

Leigh, on March 3, 2021 at 4:53 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 10
Hey everyone! We’re planning to have my bachelorette party in May of this year and are at a loss of what to do! I want to keep it relatively safe with covid and I hate the idea of just bar hopping all night. I originally though of doing a cabana at a beach bar (South NJ) but some bridesmaids seem completely uninterested? I’ve also though about asking my MOH if we can have a pool party at her house instead?
It will be one night only, I can’t stand when brides want a whole weekend or longer. ( Also two of them will be pregnant at the time.) Looking for some other alternative ideas, what are you or have you done for your bachelorette party?

I have been thinking of maybe going out for dinner and then we would go back to my house and play fun games and drink and all that, my wedding is in February of next year but since we aren't sure what things will be like then this is the plan for now. If things are a little more relaxed we might do like Dave and Busters or something like that!

I don’t drink & the thought of bar hopping just doesn’t appeal to me. We’re meeting up around 3 to make candles then go have a nice dinner. While having dessert, we’re going to have a lingerie party. Plan on being home by 8.

I love the beach cabana idea. Those who want to drink, can. Those who want to swim, can. It’s easy to distance from others. It’s YOUR party! I wouldn’t worry about planning a party with your MOH for everyone to enjoy. I’ve been to plenty of bachelorettes that weren’t my cup of tea but it warmed my heart to celebrate my best friends in ways they dreamed of.
I’d do the cabana if that’s what you’d like, and capping off the night with dinner by a private chef at a rented AirBnB (safer than going out to eat).
I had a destination wedding in Orlando and very short engagement. None of my best friends/bridesmaids were local to me besides my husband’s sister, so we planned my bachelorette for the Thursday before my Saturday wedding. I paid for a resort villa for everyone who wanted to stay for Wednesday and Thursday nights, and Thursday during the day we went to Epcot. Capped off the day with a nice dinner and drinking around Disney Springs, a bar, shopping and restaurant district in Disney World. It was the most fun day of my life!

For mine we are going to a paint bar and then out to dinner. I don't drink but some of my bridesmaids do so this way we can do something fun and those who want to drink can. Plus I have been wanting to go to a paint bar for a really long time.

We did a spa day and it was super fun!! Nice for my friends who are new moms to be able to get pampered and mingle to get to know each other a bit better. I like relaxing/low key things so it was perfect!! I like your idea of the pool party!!
Fun little fact: We went to Nemacolin in PA and that’s where The Bachelor is filmed this season 😂❤️🧖🏻‍♀️

I think a pool party sounds great! For my bachelorette, we're having a 90s themed sleepover at my house (since there's enough room there for everyone). We're planning on ordering in a nice meal, doing a little make-up and hair makeover, having drinks, playing old childhood games, and watching 90s movies. Bachelorettes don't always have to be some big party or bar-hopping night. Especially with Covid still going on, there are safer and more relaxing ways to spend your evening without missing out on fun with your girls!

I think the pool party would be my first choice if your MOH is ok with it. Also, thank you for not asking for an entire weekend+ from your friends!!!

My cousin was supposed to go all out with a long weekend in Cancun but then... covid. So they ended up doing a "cancun night" at one of her bridesmaid's houses. They decorated the place all beachey, her friend cranked the heat up a little bit so they could all wear shorts and tanks, everyone brought a beach chair, and they even set up some kiddie pools in the garage (it's winter here). They are drinkers so lots of tequila and margarita's ensued. It looked like a lot of fun!
