Bachelorette Party -- Little Black Dress or Colorful Dresses?

Sprinkle87, on August 5, 2013 at 1:43 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 10

My MOH is planning my bachelorette party in Austin and we're still undecided between having everyone wear Little black dresses or colorful dresses. I'll be wearing a red peplum dress. If we go with black its very uniform but it may look a bit morbid, if we do colorful its less uniform but fun and lively. Help, I'm the most indecisive person ever Smiley smile

I was thinking about doing little black dresses. A friend went to one that did that and they looked great in the pictures! I think it's going to be fun!

I think if you wearing a red dress the black dresses on everyone else would look great. Love black and red color combo. Also I wouldn't worry about the black looking morbid... Lots of sexy little black dresses out there. If your still worried about it just have everyone add some bling accessories.

I like to color it up. Have the ladies rock what they look best in and add an accent piece tgat the girls wear...something to spice it up!

I had two different bachelorette nights (one local) and one out of town on the same weekend. The first night I wore a black dress with pops of pink, and my girls wore pink as the main color with pops of other color. Then the next day we were in Napa/Sonoma and we all wore skirts or dresses, and in the evening we all wore colorful dresses to dinner and drinks.

I wore (actually, I ROCKED) a bright, bright coral dress with gold accessories. Most of the girls who went to my bachelorette wore black or mostly black dresses, except one girl who wore a bright teal dress. People kept thinking she was the bride all night. I'm 100% NOT mad about it, the girls didn't plan to wear black or not wear black, it's just the way it happened. I think you should suggest to your MOH that everyone else wear black and you wear white or a bright, so that you're easily identifiable.

I wanted the matchy look with me standing out so I had my girls in all black and I was in fushia. We loved it b/c we got a ton of attention! This is us at the Gansevoort.

I don't think I'm going to have my girls wear a specific color when we go out. They'll feel better if they're comfortable in what they wear, and they won't have to buy something specific.
