I wanted to do something kinda different for a bachelorette party. It will just be me and my 3 BMs (I'm not super popular lol) one idea of mine was to go to a water park during the day and then dinner and drinks after. Another idea was one of those painting classes where they teach you to paint a picture and you drink wine. And then dinner. When I told my sister about the water park idea she laughed and thought I wasn't serious lol. What did you do for your bachelorette besides the typical bar hopping?

Paint nights are fun. They also have cooking classes and pottery classes where you can have a few drinks as well. Fun stuff!

The best bach parties are whatever you want them to be! I'm having about 20 girls over to my house for food, drinks, and laughs. My bridal party are my 2 sisters and brother who are all out of town, so none of them will make it (it's okay - I'm an old bride anyway and it's a lot to ask people to travel for both the wedding AND a bach party within a few weeks of each other). A very dear friend offered to host whatever I wanted and this is what I picked. It will basically be a house party but no dudes! I'm super excited, and think my friends are, too!

I'm not one for your typical stripper style bachelorette party - just not my thing so my girls surprised me with an escape room which we all SUPER bonded over, dinner, drinks at a bar and then we ended the night with a huge sleepover at a hotel! Best night of my life easily!

Thanks guys! I think I've settled on a paint/wine class with dinner/drinks after! I'm excited! I've never done one of those classes before.

I too wanted to go to a water park and then go out dinner/drinking afterwards and I was shot down too.. I'm not sure what my sisters are planning.. just that it's a weekend thing.. this weekend lol, so I guess I'll find out soon.

I like the idea of a low key girls night tho.

We enjoyed a weekend at one of our friends river houses! Homemade pancakes with friends on a Saturday morning was amazing!

Dinner at Max Brenner's (the chocolate restaurant) then bowling and drinking at Jillians in Boston. I had such a good time and it was very low key which was perfect for me.

I love water parks, I'd be all over that! Those painting classes are fun too, I did one with my mom for her birthday one year.

She can laugh but it doesn't matter bc she should do whatever makes you happy.

One of my friends in laws owns a house in the Hamptons and allowed us to stay there the whole weekend. They had a chef come in and cook dinner with wine pairings. We also painted our wine glasses. No bar hopping necessary!

My girls surprised me and took me on this awesome white water rafting trip! The first part was rafting and the second part was floating down the river drinking wine. Afterwards we stayed at a resort and hung out. It was awesome! Do you what you feel comfortable with and something that's true to yourself!

It is all about what makes you happy! For my MOH we went to dinner at Pick up Sticks (I had made reservations at someplace nice, but last minute she didn't want to do it), went cosmic bowling, then crashed the bachelor party before heading to a midnight movie. We had a blast!
