Bachelorette party q

Tiffany, on October 9, 2019 at 4:48 PM Posted in Parties and Events 1 32
Hi everyone!!! My maid of honor is planning my bachelorette party, so thankful for her! it’s going to be a weekend in chicago, at the end of February!

My question is does the bride typically bring gifts for everyone? Or should I save gifts for the wedding day?

Thanks girls!

I think you'd be fine saving the gifts for the wedding day! I haven't really heard of brides giving gifts at the bachelorette

Too funny! I asked the same question today! You just bring yourself to the bachelorette party! No gifts are needed Smiley smile

I felt super weird going to a party thrown for me and not paying/bringing anything. So I paid for the entire dinner the first night, a round of drinks both nights, gave the girls tip money (a bunch of dollar bills) at the drag show, brought some groceries for the house, and made favors. For the favors, I got each girl a wine tumbler for camping & a hangover kit. I also paid for my flight & rental car/gas and drove up to Palm Springs from San Diego with one of my bridesmaids.

I like Mrs. D's idea of paying for dinner or buying a round of drinks as a thank you gift Smiley smile

Typically brides don’t bring gifts but the last wedding I was in the bride was so generous and bought us all matching beach hats And other trinkets with a card and gift bag the morning of our pool day for her Bach! So sweet! She called an early morning meeting haha! Just to gift us

I know!!! any recommendations for a nice warm jacket that won’t break the bank and could possible get some use out of here in TX! My MOH is in occupational therapy school there so it’s really an excuse to come visit her!

I was thinking the hangover kit or Etsy has personalized tumblers for under $8 each

I brought little gifts for my girls, and paid for everyone on one of the wine tastings we did. It's definitely not required but I wanted to thank everyone for coming and spending a whole weekend celebrating me. I also wrote everyone a thank you card and put it on their pillows when they were sitting around the campfire one of the evenings. I honestly think that was even more appreciated than the tank tops and face masks. I made sure to spend a lot of time personalizing the notes.

Let them shower you and on your wedding day you can share your gifts with them. However, it’s whatever makes you feel comfortable.
