Bachelorette party shenanigans

I'll keep it PG, since I know how a lot of you ladies feel about...shenanigans, but it was a blast. The girls put in a lot of effort to make it fun, with games, a very realistic cake, and fun signs/sashes for me to wear out. The sign I wore the second day was a HUGE hit with people. Basically, it was a checklist of crazy things i had to do throughout the night, so everyone had a lot of fun helping me check things off. Some of the more PG ones were to get on a table and sing "Here comes the bride" (I decided that a stage with a band in front of 100s of people was a better idea. Thanks liquid courage), ask 5 people for marriage advice, take a picture in the men's bathroom with a veil made out of toilet paper. It was a lot of fun, but I'm never partying like that again. I'm not a big drinker and this weekend pretty much sealed the deal on why. Anyway...enjoy the few pics I feel are appropriate enough for the internet.

Sounds like so much fun! And I can only imagine what the non-PG pics look like! Cute pics! What happened with the bridesmaid that was not good with money?

Love NOLA!!! Last time I was there I sat outside with the bouncers at Cats Meow for an hour carding people as they came in (it was June and hot as hell the bar) while holding a beer. Then about 3 hours after we left a couple people got shot right outside and someone died

She ended up losing her damn debit card within the first 20 minutes we were out! So whatever money she did bring, she didn't have access to (except for a little bit of cash she spent before realizing her card was gone), so we ended up spotting her the whole time anyway. She was good about staying on a budget so it was fine.

Holt crap Maltese! We did get a lot of "You girls shouldn't be here on your own". I know how dangerous the place is, I've been a bunch of times. I met a NYPD officer who gave me a badge from his pocket to "protect" us all night lol. I kept it in my shirt. We were fine.

Alicia: The non-PG version will not grace the pages of this website. The judgement is too much for me sometimes, but we had a good time. Oh, and pic of my cake!

So in the end you still ended up spotting her? Lol. Hopefully she pays you girls back but at least you got to enjoy NOLA (literally one of my fave places in the world). And the cake is definitely VERY realistic.... lol

Lol yeah, no big deal. It's not like she was like "YAY now I can spend all I want!" She didn't eat out at any of the restaurants we went to (she brought her own food and ate in the hotel), and didn't drink that much while we were out. It was all good.

That looks like it was a blast !!! I'm far to self conscious for any . . . shenanigans, and have already asked my bridesmaids that there be none around. I wish I could cut loose like that :/

OMFG! I love Cat's Meow, It's my fav bar on Bourbon. Although I live in MD, I'm totally thinking of doing my bacherolette party in NOLA, mainly because of that place.
