We live in northern va and want to do a beach getaway for both our bachelor and bachelorette parties. Any suggestions on destinations?

Depending on when you book and if you are willing to fly there the Ft. Meyers/Cape Coral area of Florida is pretty nice and flights usually aren't too expensive. My FFIL lives down there and we get flights out of IAD.

You could also book an AirBnB for a beach getaway weekend, just look at specifically coastal towns. Our bridal party found us a beautiful 7 bedroom lakehouse in VT for a three day weekend, 12 people staying for $1,400.

I've been once and I loved Dewey beach! A lot of people I know also go to Ocean City as well, or if you wanted to be able to go to casinos too you could head north to NJ-beaches and Atlantic City.

My bridal party rented a beach house in VA Beach for my bachelorette party, scheduled for September of this year. We're going to hit some wineries in the area, hang out at the beach, and eat all weekend It's not as fancy as other beach destinations, but the price was great (so I've been told) and I just wanted a low key weekend.
I had a friend do her bachelorette in Key West. The photos looked amazing and they had so many different things to do.

Come visit OP! Go to waterman's, the mermaid factory and enjoy the beach!

But I'm getting married on PCB, Florida. So I highly recommend that too.
