Bachelorette Party Themed “attire”

Meghan, on July 5, 2019 at 5:47 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 8
My Bachelorette party is next month. I’ve already told my bridal party that I do not want cheesy t-shirts, however, I know they want to do something. What are some other ideas that you ladies had at your parties/trips? I’d love to see photos if you have them! We are doing a long weekend in Savannah, GA.

I would suggest sashes or tiaras but that seems cheesy too haha.

I guess I should mention my bridal party is mix gender. So I don’t think the guys would like sashes or tiaras lol. I thought about sunglasses? It’s ultimately up to them, but I’m trying to offer ideas.

If you don't want anything cheesy, I would just have the bridal party wear a certain color and you wear another. It doesn't necessary have to black and white.

I'm with PP's, you could go with a fun color scheme or sashes/buttons/hats. I have seen Bach parties work this in a variety of ways including other things like themed water bottles, wine glasses, stickers. I think it would be super cute if y'all went with a color theme and you wore a sash (like they wear blue and you wear red or something where you stand out) and maybe hats depending on your group. Let us know what you decide!!

This is what happened for mine! I wore a white lace dress and all my girls wore pink! It made for really nicely coordinated pics/we felt like a cohesive group, but no one spent unnecessary money on shirts/accessories they could only wear once. My MoH did get a sash for me and some wearables for my girls, but as I understand, she ordered them cheap off Amazon and everyone LOVED them. (Plus, she absorbed the costs completely as hostess.)

We did sashes and buttons for mine and I also wore a veil (which I was totally against at first, but it ended up being ok). We also ended up getting sunglasses from one of the wineries we went to so those were a cute (and practical) addition!

I thought about t-shirts but I was very big on them not having to spend money on things that they'd never wear again. (i.e. I spent $20 at another bachelorette party on a thin orange tank top that has just sat in my closet ever since the party.

I had seen a previous bachelorette party where they all wore different shades of pink. One of my wedding colors is blue so I thought I'd do the same thing but with blue! It gave the girls the option to wear something that they already had or purchase something on their own terms that they could wear again after which I loved!
