Bachelorette party with just bachelorettes?

A, on January 19, 2020 at 7:47 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 14
My FW and I don’t have anyone around that would throw us a bachelorette party/bridal shower/etc. I got kinda sad that I wouldn’t get to experience that but got over it pretty quick because there was nothing I could do about it, right? Well my FW said we should just have a bachelorette party together. But isn’t that just a date? Is this dumb or should we go for it?

Who cares what anyone else thinks? If you want it, do it.

I know brides that have organized their own bachelorette. Do you have any girls to have just even a girls night out with? If not then you two have something or maybe have your events the night before the big day?

We don’t really have other girls to hang out with, unfortunately. I just don’t know if it’s even a bachelorette party at that point? I’m worried that doing it would just accentuate the fact that I don’t have friends?

Oh I am sorry. Well how many people will attend the wedding? You could have a nice rehearsal party the day before. I know my FSIL had a Jack and Jill party basically a co-ed bachelorette.

Ours would kind of be a Jack-and-Jill, except we are both brides and we have nobody else to invite? Our wedding party are our siblings, and it will be hard enough to even get them to show up to the wedding itself. They’re not mean; they’re just not that interested.

Oh hi Audrey! LOL. I know remember you. Your new avatar had me confused ha ha. Isee your predicament and I am sorry but I still think you two can just have a ladies night out even just you two but if you have non wedding party members that you get along with I say do something the day before.

My bachelorette party included guys since some of my best friends are men. So you can invite your guy friends and do a mixed gender bachelorette party!

I'm in the same boat as you. My mom and Matron of Honor live on the other side of the country so I won't get a bachelorette party or bridal shower. I feel like I'm missing out. We are having a huge engagement party and my mom is coming out for it which is awesome, but my MOH can't.

I would say there's nothing you can do to change it so ensure you don't dwell on it. We aren't having a reception here where we live so there's no Wedding cake tasting, but my fiance and I are still going to cake taste!

Sounds like your FW and you will have to go big then! #lastflingbeforethering ! Feel free to splurge and go all out. If you usually go to the movies for date nights, don't go for your bach party. If you're go to is Italian food, then go out for Mexican. Treat yourselves since this is your night!
