Bachelorette Party

Leah, on January 30, 2021 at 10:51 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 4
Hey guys! So I always wanted to have a bachelorette party party in the summer or sometime when it warm. My wedding is in June 2022 and I don’t want to have it too close to the wedding. The bachelorette party will be in Nashville. We were planning to rent a boat and go swimming so when is a good time to have the party? They say a couple months before the wedding but it will still be a little chilly.

I live in Nashville. May can be hit but it can be cool. I wouldn’t plan around being able to swim, but you can always get a boat even if it’s cooler 😊
Keep in mind downtown got bombed a month ago. I’m not sure when that will be up and running again. Some buildings were completely destroyed. I know your plans are still a year and a half away, but it’s something to keep an eye on.

Unfortunately I don't think there's a good answer to this. Your bachelorette party should be a month or two before your wedding so you'll either need to switch to a warmer location or plan different activities for Nashville. Having your bachelorette party in summer 2021 is way too early in my opinion

Like Cassidy mentioned, keep and eye on any updates about dt Nashville, and have a back up plan in case things don't improve/open up by then!

I had actually talked about this with one of my bridesmaids this past weekend! My wedding isn't until Jan. 2022, but I know a few of the girls mentioned bach party timing due to the weather. We talked about maybe doing a full on bach party when it's still warm, and go to the beach in September 2021. THEN 1-2 months before the wedding, just have a nice and quiet girls weekend with nothing too crazy. Probably just drink together, play games, and stay in. You could always do that! The second 'trip' doesn't have to be pricey at all. Just a nice night in with the girls drinking and having fun!

I think you can do the party whenever! I live in upstate New York and am getting married in May 2022. We are probably doing my bachelorette party in October 2021 because travel in New York from November-April can be tricky.
