Bachelorette party

Imamanda12, on October 29, 2019 at 1:22 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 9
Hey everyone so my MOH is hosting my bachelorette party but she hasn’t said anything about where we are going or who is being invited. I thought I’d suggest some ideas to her to maybe get the ball rolling. I’m not a huge partier. I do like to go out for drinks once and a while. She suggested going to our favorite country bar and dancing. Which is fun and all but we do that anyways. My fiancé and I enjoy bar hopping in downtown which i think is what his friends have planned for him. I honestly wouldn't mind doing that. I thought maybe doing something we normally don’t do often. Maybe like a paint night somewhere with wine or go to a winery. Something different! What was your bachelorette party plans? Maybe y’all can help spark an idea for me to suggest.

I'm just like you lol, I'm not a big drinker at all. I do love my wine though! A few ideas that I gave to my MOH were: wine tasting, hookah bar, Fat Tuesdays (big alcohol slushie place in Philadelphia, it's so delicious), a club, and even a nice restaurant !

I wish we had a alcohol slushee place here! That sounds perfect! Haha

We did a weekend bachelorette in Palm Springs. The first night we went out to sushi then to a rooftop hotel bar. The second night we ate out, then went to a drag show then went bar hopping! You could do something like a party bus or a beer bike tour?

My girls and I rented a limo bus and went to a few wineries. We packed some snacks and ate at one of the wineries. Then we hung out at one of the girls houses after getting back and went it her hot tub, ordered some pizza, and just relaxed. It was so fun!

We did a long weekend trip to Savannah, GA. We did breweries, dinners, a haunted pub crawl, etc. I think both of your suggestions of wineries or paint nights would be great. And making suggestions to your MOH is completely fine. If she is planning and hosting the party, there is nothing wrong with throwing a few ideas her way. She may even appreciate it.

I'm not a partier either so going to bars, having a stripper, getting plastered, all the stereotypical bachelorette party things are not for me! I'd much rather go out to a nice dinner, then come home and watch movies, have some wine, eat some junk food, maybe play some games Smiley smile

For mine, we met up at my house after my shower. My favorite game (that my MOH planned) was "bride or groom?" where she made hearts on sticks (one side blue, one side pink). She read a statement (e.g. "most likely to lose their wedding ring", "knows the most about Disney") and everyone had to hold up which one of us they thought it was! I also held up an answer, and she had Facebook messaged FH to get his answers as well. Smiley xd

We all carpooled to dinner together and had a drink or two afterwards. I was home by 11 pm. Smiley smile

I'm not a big drinker either! My matron of honor mentioned maybe doing a group yoga class and then like a wine painting event followed by just hanging out and eating pizza and relaxing! I am pretty introverted and like just relaxing and hanging out - your bachelorette party should tailor to what you enjoy doing Smiley smile
