Bachelorette Party?

Futuremrsm, on July 8, 2019 at 12:44 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 14
So my MOH is starting to ask me ideas of what i want for my bachelorette party. The wedding isnt until october 2020 so we have plenty of time. Even though I'm in my early 20s i don't really like to go out drinking or stay out super late. I'd say 11pm is my max lol. Any ideas of what we could do? I would suggest going to a winery but i feel like that's not really a "party".

And i do drink, I'm just not looking to get stupid wasted; if that makes sense.

A winery sounds like fun, actually! Bachelor(ette) parties don't have to be WILD! My husband's bachelor party was a weekend at my aunt's lakehouse. My bachelorette was brunch, a Cubs game and then some relatively mild bar hopping after the game.

A winery, a spa day, a paint & sip, any or all of these things followed by a dinner or something - anything you want to do can be your bachelorette party!

I'm the same. We are doing a weekend in Palm Springs at my uncle's vacation house. It has a pool so we can lounge all day and there are nice places to eat around town for dinner then we can stay in a watch movies, go bowling, or go in the jacuzzi. I wanted a more staycation/relax before the wedding vibe.

I am not a huge partier either. We are going to Wisconsin Dells. My bridal party rented a cabin for the weekend, I told them I wanted to tube down the river and just hang out. We will go downtown but there are lots of little shops, mini golf courses, waterparks, and bars and clubs. You could do a distillery tour, a wine and paint class, a spa day with dinner and drinks after. Maybe some sort of show? Like a burlesque show! If your near a beach you could just do a beach day and go out afterwards. We rented a pedal tavern for my friends bach party and it was a blast! Also for another bach party i went too they rented a pontoon boat and we cruised one the lake all day, we brought drinks and snacks! It was a ton of fun! I hope one of these ideas helps!

You could totally go to the winery for your Bachelorette party! I know a lot of people that do that. Mine won't be wild either! We're going to Atlanta in January, and I'm not really sure what we're doing since my Matron & Maid of Honor are planning everything. The only thing I requested is that we do an aerial yoga class. It looks so fun so I thought that'd be a fun thing for everyone to do! My Matron of Honor got married last year, and we all just went to dinner, an escape game, and brunch the next morning for hers.

We rented a house in Palm Springs, and really only went out at night. No one did a TON of drinking or got "stupid wasted". The first night we went out to sushi then to a rooftop bar. The next day we went on a hike, went to brunch, came back and laid by the pool (they surprised me with an in home massage), then got ready & went to dinner then a drag queen show then out dancing!

My sister's bachelorette party was a day trip to the amusement park that was about 2 and a half hours away.

Winery sounds fun, you could do a paint night, or a spa day.

You don’t need to “party” with drinks and things like that for a bachelorette party. I also don’t drink and hate the traditional bachelorette parties. I don’t know what mine will entail, but I put suggestions out there like escape rooms or paint night things.

I'm the same as you! I'm 22 and drinking is not my scene and my bridesmaids know that. When they began planning they asked me what I wanted and I said I want to go somewhere I've never been and be close enough to go to a zoo (animals are my priority lol).

That is how we came up with Wildwood, NJ because it is only 5 hours away, I've never been there, and there is a zoo 15 minutes away.

So even if you just do a weekend sight seeing a city that you've never been to before! There's so many more options besides being wasted the whole time!

A winery sounds super fun! I'd love to do that for a bach party. Try some great wine, talk with your girls, maybe go for a really nice meal after... If that's what you want to do you should go for it!

A winery could make a great day! My friend had one at a winery and it was a good fit even for our very very pregnant other friend lol. You could do a vineyard by day, dinner at a posh hotel, then stay over the hotel and chill in cozy robes with your girls watching movies, hanging out and going to bed when you want Smiley smile

I totally didn't have the typical bahcelorette either. I'm not much of a party scene type and I felt like I wanted my girls to have a memorable experience and avdenture with me. So we went horseback riding and a virtual reality gaming experience

I'm getting married at a winery and that could definitely be a fun atmosphere for a bach party! Especially if they had an event going on. We've been going to more of the events at this winery lately and they had a cake and wine pairing day and also a donut and wine pairing day, both were super fun. There was a bach group at the cake one.

My wedding is Oct 2020 too and I'm not really a 'going out' partier but I also don't want to feel like I missed out on something. I really want to do a paint night thing but there are tons of stuff you could do and as long as you're having fun, who cares if it's "bachelorette-like"?

I would love to go to a winery.

I seriously told my sister that I would love to dinner and a wine and canvas thing.
