Some brides do but they shouldn't be planning it. If the bridesmaids don't offer..same as with a shower, then it doesn't happen

I didn’t plan logistics and the actual aspects of mine but I did have input in terms of what I would ideally like

I honestly think it’s fine just as long you are paying your share. I wouldn’t plan a weekend, or trip where the situation is people are gonna pay for me with what I plan. Does that make sense? That seems wrong. If someone else offers or surprises you with something then yeah, their plan is likely to spoil you and everyone chips in.

If you’re planning your own bach trip or event, then it’s fine. But treat it as a regular trip.

Yeah that’s something like I was thinking like a mini trip like a weekend or something and of course I was paying for my part of the trip but then I feel not everyone will make it so I was going to just do something less

Generally the bachelorette is planned by the MOH or Bridesmaids, but, they don't have a duty to do so.

I don't think you should be precluded from having such events merely because no one in the bridal party offered to plan it Smiley smile

It should be planned by someone else; throwing a party in your own honor is tacky. If nobody offers to throw or host a party in your honor you can always get together with your friends and call it a ladies' night or something like that.
