Bachelorette party!

Macy, on August 29, 2019 at 12:34 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 6
Hey everyone! So my brother is my man of honor, so he’s planning all my exciting parties. He’s very extra which I love. However my bridal shower is this Sunday and he’s spent almost $1300 and isn’t done. He’s a server(a very good one) he makes great money however I don’t expect him to blow it all on me. So my bachelorette party is on the 25th of September. We originally were going to do a pole dancing class and go to dinner and he hired a painter to come to his house and we’re all going to go back and paint inappropriate things 😂. I talked him out of pole dancing because it’s $400 for an hour which is the minimum time and we only have like 3-4 people besides myself for that part. So I talked him out of it because of pricing but now he wants to replace it with something else crazy. Hasn’t pitched his new ideas yet. Any ideas for a low key but fun night that won’t be super expensive? He’s all for me giving him ideas! I don’t like people blowing money on me no matter what the circumstances, however I appreciate it. I’d be fine with getting dinner and staying in and playing games.

Can you still do pole dancing but use a Groupon? Aha there's plenty of fitness studios that give free first classes too. It won't be a private class but at least you could still all do it for a fraction of the costs.

Maybe pitch to him about having a girl's night in. He can order whatever food to be delivered, you can play all sorts of fun games, he can still have the painter come to the house and that way it is a little less stress on everyone. Tell him you want a fun night in with your crew before the craziness of the wedding sets in.

That’s a great way to put it! Its on a Wednesday anyway so it wouldn’t be too crazy for people who work the next day

Since you'll be at his house for the painting, maybe just do something there before? Like a takeout dinner & movie night or takeout dinner & at home spa?

My brother is my man-of-honor, too!!! Except he's useless with planning. Thank goodness for his wife (who is also a bridesmaid) who is type A and keeping things moving. My best friend has been surprisingly helpful, too.
