Bachelorette Party

kacey, on July 26, 2018 at 4:32 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 15

I live in Ohio and am getting married September of 2019! Do you have any recommendations for things to do or destinations for the bachelorette party? It doesn't have to be in Ohio but close would be nice!

I literally know nothing about Ohio. But...any lakes you could go too? A nice spa and resort place? Any mountains? Can you travel to the beach or anything

I also live in Ohio and we are going to wineries in Lake Erie wine country in PA for my bachelorette party. We are also doing our mini honeymoon in the Finger Lakes! (I like wine).

That being said while input is probably ok you shouldn’t be planning your own bachelorette party. So I would let whoever is planning it take the lead and have her run ideas past you! Good luck!

Thank you for the idea! unfortunately my best friend and I are completely different and with her being single her only idea is to go out to a club with hot guys and get wasted. Not my idea of fun so I am thinking of ideas.

Oh gotcha, that’s rough. Well definitely give her some ideas and then let her go from there. Hopefully she’ll plan something you like! There’s lots of time so perhaps she’ll be in a relationship by then and it won’t be a big deal. Good luck!

I grew up in Ohio. There are the islands in lake Erie. They're small and basically just for drinking but put-in-bay has some nice wineries and inns. Also you could look into hocking hills as a weekend trip. I've never been there personally but I've heard it's very nice.

What kind of bachelorette party do you want? I'm an ohio bride too and I'm leaving it up to maid and matron of honor to plan. I want to go out bar hopping and such. if you want to do a destination bachelorette party you could do kings island or hocking hills? possibly lake Erie at Port Clinton. Ohio had all sorts of ideas.

I’m in ohio, but my fiancé and i are planning to do a joint bachelor/bachelorette party at a cabin in tennessee. i haven’t lived here long, but i did grow up in michigan - i would highly suggest going up to the UP for a fun girls weekend! there’s a lot of beautiful things to see and do up there! or depending on where in OH you are, chicago is also an option (im NE ohio and live in chi for a bit, so i drive back sometimes and it’s relatively reasonable for a long vacay) and there’s SOOOO much to do there!!

You could do things like put-in-bay or cedar point too, depending on what you like to do. There’s also indoor water parks like Kalahari or Great Wolf Lodge.

If you're in Southern Ohio, you can get to Nashville or Gatlinburg in an easy day trip. Lake Cumberland? Louisville is a fun city. Northern Ohio, definitely Put In Bay area.

I'm from Chicago and we have a large boat scene here so maybe road trip it and then rent a boat and stay downtown 1-2 nights. Not sure how much you're looking to do but there's more than enough activities here.

Hi there Kacey!!! Have you decided where to go for your bachelorette party? Gatlinburg and Nashville are really fun, or you could hop over to Chicago. PPs already suggested those, I think, but I just wanted to second them!! Smiley smile

Chicago isn't that far away, depending on the part of Ohio you're in
