Bachelorette party

Kaitlin, on January 15, 2020 at 7:09 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 5
So i am really looking forward to my bachelorette party! i’m a mom and just looking forward to having a good time with all my closest friends.
i want to go out of town and spend one night in an air bnb. my question is how much does the average person spend on a bachelorette? of course i don’t want my girls going out of their budget and spending out of their means, i just don’t know a reasonable amount to spend per person?
any advice/tips/opinions would be much appreciated Smiley smile

It varies person to person. I want to rent an air bnb but I am willing to pay for that and maybe the other ladies can get together and chip in for whatever events planned.

I’d say at least a couple hundred bucks. It depends how many people are going to divide the cost amongst. But lodging, food, drinks, activities, a few hundred for sure.

This is one of the reasons why it's better to let your wedding party plan the bachelorette based on feedback they gather about what people are willing to spend. There have been some tough posts recently from brides who got involved in the planning/determining expenses, and the whole thing blew up when BMs felt like the bride was expecting too much financially.

I wanted my bachelorette in Las Vegas, so my MOH sent an email to the invites and gave an estimate cost brake down associated with room and activities. That way they could make the decision on whether or not they wanted to go and spend the money. Turns out everyone accepted, which I didn’t expect at all. So there will be 11 of us going to Vegas at the end of Feb, I’m so excited. I too am a mom and looking to spend some quality girl time with my friends!

I decided on a trip to NOLA for my bach party. My fsil is planning it and sent an email out with all the specifics. She very specifically said in the email "Please think about your schedule and finances over the next few weeks and decide whether you'll be able to make it. It's better to let us know now than to commit to coming and have to back out later." There will be around 10 of us and the Airbnb is $150/person
