Bachelorette party

Arianna, on January 3, 2020 at 8:46 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 12
Hi everyone!

My bridal party has decided (on their own) that we’re are going to do a mini vacation for my bachelorette party. They want me to recommend a couple places that I would like to go to but I rarely travel and can’t make a decision! I live in Northern Michigan, so I would like to get out of Michigan. I’m looking for a good mix of relaxing and maybe one night of partying. Any recommendations?

I wanted to go to Nashville but settled on NOLA for traveling/financial purposes. I didn't want to bleed everyone dry over my Bachelorette party! Do you like cold weather or would you prefer going somewhere a little warmer and laying by a pool/beach for the weekend?

That’s how I felt too but my bridal party said they all need a reason to travel in March lol. I can honestly do both. I feel like if I’m going to travel somewhere cold, then I’ll need like a hot spring or something like that.

Nashville, Savanna, New Orleans, Vegas, Napa (if you are into wine), NYC

The possibility are endless. Do you guys want to drive or fly? If you want to drive, maybe Chicago? I would also look at where you can fly direct from where you live.

Hey, if they're willing to pay for it I say go have fun!!! I'd try to avoid going in the middle of march because that's spring break and the cost of travel will be super high. Personally, I think Nashville, Napa, or Austin would be fun!

I second Nashville! And the prices are fair pretty much everywhere you go.

Chicago wouldn't be a bad idea either!

The Kayak app has a cool function where you can set your departure city and a date range and then see different starting price points for flights to different places on a map. It’s a fun way to get ideas. Here’s a screenshot as an example, my city is Charlotte and I picked one weekend in March.

Chicago? NYC? Charlotte? Charleston? Those are all closer to you so may be cheaper travel-wise. If you are looking to go farther, Nashville, Scottsdale, Palm Springs, San Diego, Miami or New Orleans would all be amazing!

I didn’t even think about Scottsdale! Two of my BM are in CO so we’re also looking for places there! I just can’t find a good balance between relaxing and fun party town lol

Scottsdale would be great for that, I love it. Lots of spas & nice restaurants & shopping but also a lot of bars & clubs. I went to Palm Springs and it was the perfect mix. We rented a house and had relaxing pool time, went on a short hike, went out to eat, then went out at night drinking & to a drag show!

We are doing Scottsdale, I think it will be awesome!

I would look at the geography of where your bridesmaids are and you are located to find something somewhat central.

For something relaxing and fun and affordable, I would recommend Austin, Nashville, New Orleans, Charleston, Savannah, Orlando.
