Bachelorette party/trip

Leslie, on July 5, 2019 at 10:55 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 13
What have y’all done that’s fairly cheap but fun for your bach party?! I’m having trouble and need help! There’s 5 of us going and I was thinking a quick trip to the beach and a really nice dinner down there. The guys have already decided on what they’re doing but I need help!

I would leave it up to whoever is hosting. It really depends on each person's availability and budget, but I wouldn't concern myself with researching all of that.

We went to dinner and bar hopping downtown where I live (we're in the capital of our state, so great bars!) and then had a slumber party at my house for girls who aren't local. Smiley smile

That sounds fun! If you’re looking for more activities to fill the time in paint/craft night activities are always fun. I did one at a bach party where we painted wine glasses. Or you can bar hop and do a scavenger hunt along the way! (Ask an old married couple for advice, propose to a group of guys, find a guy with the same name as the groom, etc)

I told my MOH not to go all out for me, it's just not who I am. There's only 5 of us so we're going out to a nice dinner and drinks downtown. As a thank you, I treated us to a hotel room for the night.

Those all sound like good ideas!! Trying to work around everybody’s work schedules is tough 😂 I live in Lexington N.C. so it’s kinda close to the mountains and beach, just making sure everybody has the time to do anything is fun and making sure their kids are looked after is a whole other thing too 😂

I was looking for ideas too.
My girls are a recent college grad, a mother of 3, a mom of an adult & a puppy mommy who recently moved and is jobless. So money is a thing that's tight for them.
They also live in NY, WA, MD & now MO. And I am in VA, wedding in NY- upstate.

Yesss money is tight on our end too!!!! I think I’ve figured out that we’re gonna go to an arts and crafts store and get some things to make porch wreaths and monograms to hang on the door and things like that and then go eat somewhere nice and then after that have a slumber party so all the moms can have the kids over too! I don’t drink and one is pregnant and the other 2 don’t drink a lot so it’ll be a fun ice cream slumber party 😂 and I love all my nieces so I don’t mind them “crashing” the party lol

Beach sounds fun! I’ve done paint nite’s, spa days (facial/mani/pedi), escape rooms, winery tours, local nights out, dinner and a sleepover! All were lots of fun Smiley smile

When I had to plan a double bachelorette, thats what I did. Beach was a few hours away, and we all split a hotel room. Nice dinner, a little bar hopping, with some games and photo ops sprinkled in. Most expensive part of the trip was our hotel room was broken into and my very expensive camera and all my cash was taken lol but that aside, SUPER affordable

I don’t want a weekend trip. I want either mani and pedi with whine. Or to a duel piano bar.

That would be fun! I like the beach idea. You could bring lunch for everyone & just hangout at the beach, then go to dinner after. If you wanted, you could head back to someone's house or a rental house or hotel for a sleepover and at home spa night?

Spa day is what I’ve been thinking! Even if you just have a DIY spa day before hand to hangout, drink and enjoy the time with your group.
