Bachelorette weekend and single digits!

Today we are just 9 days out from the wedding and today marks the start of my bach weekend! I can't wait to get out of work and get on the road. Me and all my girls are having a relaxing weekend at an Airbnb in Newport, RI. Tonight we are going to have some wine and play games, tomorrow is a beach day and then dinner and bar hopping at night, and then Sunday we are going to a vineyard before heading home. Unfortunately, me and two other girls couldn't take today off (but at least we get to road trip together after working all day!) so we are not kicking off the weekend until tonight but luckily it isn't an extremely far drive (about an hour and a half). I'm so excited and can't focus on anything at work lol. I was busy all morning getting stuff done but now its only 11AM and I feel like I have run out of steam already and just want to get out of here haha. What do you guys have planned for this weekend?

Congrats. Sounds like it will be lots of fun. My bach weekend was last weekend, and I worked a half day. I could barely stand to be at work, and ended up leaving an hour earlier than planned, haha. This weekend if my FH's turn. He is going to Busco Beach, NC to ride ATV's and watch a concert.

I was so tempted this morning to ask my boss if I could leave early but I'm still somewhat new to this job and we run on a July-June fiscal year so it is currently year end for us so I have been pretty busy, especially being an accountant/financial analyst. Random things tend to pop up unexpectedly during the day that need immediate attention so I felt obligated to be here to deal with that. I'm also currently doing my job and filling in for someone else who has been out, so I'm essentially two people right now lol.
I hope your FH has fun, that sounds like a great time! I love NC!
