Bachelorette

Catrina, on July 13, 2020 at 7:26 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 7

Hey ladies I need ideas I was supposed to go to vegas for my bachelorette in august but that looks like it won't be happening so I need some alternatives. We still want to go somewhere probably rent an air bnb by the water so we can still do something fun considering bars will more than likely be closed.

I would suggest local. Which state do you live in? I would say check places with lakes as I feel most places with beaches will be in states where the cases are high. Also, research are restaurants open. Maybe rent a cabin by a lake and keep things indoors and do some things outdoors like hikes and bonfires?

I live in Texas so one of the states with alot of cases so that's not really an issue. I am looking for specific locations to look at I know I want waterfront.

Well if where is not an issue then come to Florida. Tons of beaches or go to LA.

For anything in September, I would 100% stay local. I'm in LA--please don't come here. Our numbers (as well as FL's) will not be okay by then. I'd actually just recommend a zoom event; I doubt it'll be safe to have get-togethers by September.

My wedding is in September which we are going through with as planned with our original guest count. We decided to do a river trip for the bachelorette.

    ...Okay? My advice still stands.

My FH has now had two of his family members pass away from covid-19 as a direct result of very-small, law-abiding get-togethers. I'm imploring you to re-think your plans.

That is unfortunate for your loss, but it has become ridiculous that people are making judgements on MY decision for MY wedding. I did not ask for the opinion on rescheduling my wedding so thanks but no thanks for your input. I am not breaking any laws FYI. I would encourage you to not judge other brides because this situation is hard on everyone and trying to making others feel guilty is not polite and is uncalled for.
