Mine was 4 days in Cozumel and his was 4 days in Toronto.

My MOH wanted to treat me because we never had a girls trip. I will also do one local night for everybody else.

Same with FH. His friends wanted to treat him.

I'm sorry, but I do not understand the expense or purpose behind this multi-day BPs. It's not a mini-moon, it's a party...one last night (symbolically) to party with the ladies/gentlemen. That can be amazing, but it doesn't require anything more than a single day.

Agreed that trips are becoming overboard. One of my friends tried to persuade me to fly across the country or to mexico for a week for mine. Mine will be two nights, one day in a town an hour and a half south from where I live (where my MOH lives). It would have been one night but our hotel required a two night booking. FH is doing one night in the town where I live (he's from OOT).

I agree with you Rachel. 4 days was too long and 7 days is even longer! It was a expensive 4 days for everyone. I agree one night out on town would be perfect and what a Bachelorette/Bachelor party should be, a one last night out on the town!

One night. One night in a city an hour away from us. Because anything else becomes absolutely ridiculous.

I am fine not having one, but if I do, one night. That's it.

A week? That's ridiculous. We had one WICKED awesome night in Boston (20 min drive) and that was it! DH went to Montreal for a weekend with his guys but his dad rented an RV for cheap. I really don't get the concept of forcing your friends to fly somewhere for an unnecessary party

We did a friday-Sunday morning at the beach, and my best friend flew in 2 days early just for extra bestie time since she lives in another state.

I'm having a hometown weekend. First night is a slumber party at MOHs house, then brunch, followed by a "surprise" then a night out downtown, & sleeping at a hotel.

FH BM is throwing him a 1 day hometown bachelor party. Tattoo shop (my surprise for FH), dinner then a party bus.

    It's next weekend & I couldn't be more excited!!

I am going to Mexico with some friends for a week but this was also planned before I got engaged. It is not a true bachelorette party but we are calling it one.

Also I am doing a true bachelorette weekend right before the wedding. So 3 days? Friday night - Sunday

I doubt I will have one at all. This is obscene and ridiculous anymore. For my sister's we went to Louisville KY and had a one nighter there. It was fun. I would not be able to justify putting that cost on anyone and I would not be able to take any time off of work seeing as I am taking time off (2 weeks) for the wedding.

I do not see the need to push multi day or week long bach parties for anyone.

Due to costs n time off for the wedding already, I only asked for 1 night for a little bachelorette.

Mine is going to be one night. We're either going on a beer bus tour or winery hopping. When my bridesmaids asked me for ideas I told them no destination bachelorette. Like most people on here I think they're a little rude and selfish. My fh is going camping overnight for his bachelor's.

Mine will be a long weekend, I went to 2 this year for my best friends, they were also both 4 days. FH will be the same. I think a day or long weekend. Nothing longer.

I think it depends on your crowd - I was so excited for a long weekend with girlfriends and my BMs are the same!

Honestly, I think these are all getting crazy. A week? A flight? A hotel?

No way. It's a giant imposition on the BP's in both time and money.

    A night. Plenty.
