I would postpone until a later date, sadly. The guidelines are clear: large gatherings are not recommended. Social distancing is really important right now. Fortunately, many airlines/hotels are being flexible/accommodating with rebooking. Sorry your plans are being interrupted! I hope this will all be over sooner than later.

It may be less stressful to just postpone. If you proceed it’s likely you’ll get a lot of cancellations and you’ll be stressed the whole time about businesses closing.

We have almost 40 cases of covid and they are all near new orleans. (surrounding "counties"). Most of the schools are closed for the next month, with colleges cancelling meetings of 30+ ppl until the end of May, while also doing online classes. Nola has also postponed most major festivals and second lines etc. With that knowledge in hand you can make the best decision for you guys! In a month nola might still be its old self...

I was supposed to have mine in New Orleans starting this Wednesday. We just cancelled... I am so sad

I would postpone. I actually have a small event with 50 people in New Orleans in JUNE and it got cancelled due to coronavirus. It's a national emergency and there are cases everywhere now. Hopefully you can reschedule!

Thank you everyone ... this sucks really bad but I would rather go when things are back to normal....I also don’t want to risk bringing the virus back to ny to get anyone else sick
