Bachlorette Party!

Andrea, on January 4, 2020 at 9:30 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 9

Who are you inviting to yours? Just the ladies in your bridal party (bridesmaids, MOH (s) or others in addition to your bridal party that you'd want to attend? Maybe a fave aunt, a cousin, etc?

My bridal party threw my bachelorette and were in charge of the guest list. It depends on the event I imagine. Mine ended up just being my bridal party and myself, but it was a psuedo destination party about a 2 hour drive away and they booked a 2 bedroom hotel room for the night. If it's more local, it may be easier to include others.

Yeah, I didn't plan any parties (other than the wedding). Usually, pre-wedding events are hosted by others (doesn't have to be the bridal party), not the bride and groom.

My bach is being planned by my 3 person bridal party (sister, bestie, and 20 year old niece). I gave them a copy of my guest list for the wedding since it's typically bad form to invite people to the pre-wedding parties but not the wedding. I had a column on there for those non-family members that I would want invited if I have a shower and a column for the bach. I just put an A (I would really really really want them there) or a B ( I want them there but understand if space and budget are limited) and left it to them to figure out. They have asked me a few questions about what I would want but are keeping the details a surprise. I just get to know when I have to show up.

I've got my bridesmaids, plus a couple friends and a cousin! As long as they're invited to the wedding and you want them there, I'd say invite them! But if you're gonna get crazy maybe leave mom/ auntie out of it Smiley smile

For my bachelorette I invited the bridal party as well as a couple additional friends! In total we invited:

    - 5 bridesmaids

    - MOH + her BFF (also my friend, but my sister was my MOH and didn't really know anyone else so this was a fun one for her too)

    - 2 additional close girl friends - these were people helping with the wedding, I had participated in their bachelorette/wedding, family members, etc. BUT these people were also invited to the wedding!
