I had terrible acne leading up to my wedding day and also had a strapless dress. It was probably from working out so much more than I normally do. I started using Alba Botanica Acne-dote face and body scrub with salicylic acid about two months out. I would scrub it lightly on my problem areas in the shower (chest, skin, neck and face) and let it sit on my skin for one minute before washing it off. Worked really well, as long as you don't pick!

Good afternoon! There is a mud soap and body butter that has the minerals of the dead sea infused that worked. It has helped me and one of my bridesmaid with chest acne and it leaves my skin really smooth. If you're interested, I can send you the link to check it out!

Definitely see a dermatologist! Alcohol does kill off bacteria, but it is also very drying which makes your skin more susceptible to breakouts! You may be able to get a prescription for something like Clindamycin which can help a ton!

    Hi there!

I swear by the Murad line, it has SAVED my skin! In particular, It sounds like you have scarring from the picking. I've been guilty of the picking. Murad invisiscar treatment is a miracle worker! It helps minimize the look of post-acne scarring/ discoloration. It says it will take about 8 weeks to really notice a difference, and I would say that is a fair time frame. I noticed a difference in about 6-8 weeks in using it. In addition, I use Murad oil and pore control mattifier, the acne spot treatment, and clarifying cleanser.

If you shop at ULTA beauty they offer a trial kit, where you can try all 4 products I mentioned.. The products are a bit expensive but it works for me so it's the only products I use. However it's best to try it out first bc it may not work for you, everyone's skin is different.

In addition, these are medical-grade products developed by Dr. Murad who is an actual dermatologist. The Murad line is actually one of the first skincare lines founded by a doctor.

    Goodluck to you!

Below I posted a link to the trial kit!

Probably best to talk to a dermatologist and nutritionist. However, I've found this lotion at my local grocery store that has helped my acne scars - Two other friends of mine have also had good success with using it with their acne/scarring issues.

I have definitely noticed a difference in my skin using aeno tabs for the last week. I have been following the maximum/stubborn acne recommendations but will likely Drop to the smaller dose in another week or so.

I had very stubborn cystic acne and rarely had any small whiteheads. However I was suddenly experiencing 20 small new whiteheads all over my back daily. I was pretty confident it was a purging reaction so I stopped using my serum‘s and did just the curology ointment so as not to overwhelm my skin so much while it went through the purge. However I wanted to try the supplements to see if that curbed the purging any faster. I was super impressed by the ingredients in these supplements especially since many of the vitamins are vitamins that are good for general health anyway not just for skin care. I would say in the first three days of taking the supplements I noticed my new breakouts slowing down quite a bit and now about a week later I would say I am only getting one or two small whiteheads a day compared to 20 and they are healing much faster than before. I will definitely continue to take these acne supplements.

This is definitely been one of the best skin care additions I’ve made to my routine in several years and no question made my purging process end a lot faster.

I have back scars from having Pityriasis Rosea in January/February. I just started using Minimo scrub on my entire torso, butt, and thighs. It's turmeric, honey, and cinnamon. I'm giving it a month to see if I see any improvement. It's supposed to lighten scars, which I need to do because I want an open backed dress.

I’m a lifelong acne sufferer and have been on accutane and tried all the creams. The one thing that has really worked is Curology, specifically a formulation with .018% tretinoin. You can order it online, receive a personalized consultation and reorder whenever you run out. I just dilute with a lotion and apply to my back. I would highly suggest you try a formulation with a retinoid (tretinoin).
