I was just reading an atricle on this! They call it the "venus fold" which sounds nicer. Here is the link, it has some tips to minimize it too "Why do I have cleavage on my back? Learning to love your Venus Fold" http://offbeatbride.com/2013/11/back-cleavage

I love my v-neck line for this reason. It only shows the good part of my back Smiley winking

I don't see any back fat in that picture you showed at all. I'm not trying to be overly nice either, I was imagining fat just spilling over the dress, you don't have that..lol

Where's the back fat? I agree with OTW.. start lifting, doing squats (for the butt) and eating right.

    1. Girl - you don't have back fat.

    2. I understand where you are coming from. You want to look your best, so you are hypercritical on yourself.

    3. The back on mine is more of a "V" shape, and no, that doesn't help the back fat. It really is just related to how tight it is on you.

    4. You can let it out a half inch, or just lose like a pound or 2. (I was in the same situation-same amount of "back fat", and that's what alterations said to do)

    5. Personal opinion, it's not worth the cost in alterations to make the changes. (more of a V or letting it out)

    Hope this helps

I didn't see any back fat there and, unless you pinch at it and point it out to me, I'll probably never see it on any bride because I'm usually looking at a bride's face rather than her back.

My fear of back fat is the reason I have a fingertip-length two-tier veil though, lol. There is a possibility that I'm just being my own worst critic, but if the veil can fool me into thinking no one can see my back, I might be able to relax enough to breathe on my wedding day, lol!

To smooth out the back skin (which everyone will have in any dress) have someone put both hands down the back of your dress in the middle then slide to the outside of your body, it will help move the skin more towards the front of your body Smiley smile

Girl, you don't have ANY back fat. But, just to give you an idea... a V shape DOES help hide it. Granted, I have a muscular back (and the lights make it look worse than it is) but there's no fat overlapping the sides. Plus, I like that it gives me room to move without the fear of fat spilling over! Also, HopeRebecca gives great advice.

If you're that worried about it though, multiple reps with light weights will take care of it!
