Back Up Wedding Dress?

Well, not quite what you're talking about, but my sister-in-law realized on her wedding day that her wedding dress had accidentally been thrown out. She went and bought a white sundress, and called it a day. I always admired her ability to roll with the punches.

Alas, I don't know any more details. She only told me what had happened long after the fact. I assumed at the time that she'd just chosen to have an informal wedding.

I had a back up dress in case i did not lose a few pounds to get into my dress that once fit. I loved my back up dress more than the first!!!

For all bridal shops there’s always a few people that ended up not getting their dress (due to wrong dress ordered, botched alterations etc) so when I saw this dress at a preowned/sample dress shop for $200 and it fit perfectly I started to think about why not just get it as a back up in case something happens before or even the day of the wedding. That’s not a lot of money to have some peace of mind and even has a fairytale vibe to it!
