Backless dress shape wear.. a review!

Maybride, on June 25, 2020 at 4:18 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 3
Posting this to help out a million other brides out there! I tried in the Spanx ‘suit your fancy plunge’ shape wear with my low back dress. Does it work? Well, yeah
pretty much! Excuse the dodgy change room photo, the Spanx still had the security tag, thus the weirdo bump😂

Here I took the straps off completely and I’ve had to tuck back the ‘bra clasp’ bit on the back to stop it poking out under the lining. I think, with a bit of double sided tape to secure it in place it should be good to go! Support wise, it’s not dramatic but I do have less bunching in the front of my dress (slightly too small and as yet unaltered.. my problem is the dress is tight across the hips, hoping it can be let out a touch even with the Spanx). It does provide a nice smoothing all over and helps the dress sit a bit nicer on me.Support for ‘the girls’ Well in all honesty they don’t need much!! So it’s fine for my situation but might not work for someone with a larger chest?
Cons- it is showing a fraction above my butt..you can see, but I think my lace patterning hides it well enough to not be a massive deal for me 🤷‍♀️ My lining is champagne coloured so blends pretty well with that. Dress may even sit a little higher on my once the straps are adjusted. Backless dress shape wear.. a review! 1

Such a good find and I'm so glad it works with your dress!!

I just looked up this style on the Spanx site and I wish they'd had this style a few years ago - it's exactly what I needed for my dress as well!
