BackYard Wedding Connecticut

In what areas are you looking for suggestions? We are getting married in my parent's large, backyard in Northern Ontario. Im not much help for venue ideas though sorry! We are renting a large white tent and going for a country, garden, vintage, rustic feel!

We really want the rustic style wedding with a barn and such. But CT is just so expensive for what's around us. We are trying to stay within 2 hours travel. And haven't met anyone yet willing to rent out some land at a reasonable price.

It's really hard for people to rent out their land to you cheap because they need to add a TON of insurance for an event.

Powder kill barn in enfield! It's where we're getting married! It's 400 for the whole day, and the owner is a very chill older gentlemen

There is no AC, and you have to do your own clean up and set up, but there is a sound system, tables, and chairs.

They host square dancing, so it's very country. There's lots of pennents and little details
