Badgley Mischka Shoe Brides: Sizing questions (and I want opinions!) UPDATE :-)

Christine, on July 14, 2015 at 4:56 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 48

So I went BACK to the drawing board after my Mom talked me out of gold accessories and into silver. I've found 2 pair of Badgley Mischka shoes I love AND on sale for only $110 and $115 (gotta love 6pm.com), so the price isn't a factor. Which pair do you guys like better?

And for the ladies that wore or already purchased a pair of their shoes, how did you find the fit? I've been reading reviews and a lot of people say to get a size larger than your norm. Did you find that to be true? I'm torn as to what to do since I already kinda do that with heels often. I really can wear a 7 but since my feet are wide I usually go up to a 7 1/2. But I'm not sure if they're so tight that I may need an 8. Advice?

The 1st ones, beautiful, I considered buying Badgley Mischka shoes but since I never wear high heels I couldn't justify the price they were double your price. Also the really nice heel choices they offer are way to high for me. lol

I like the first ones - i actually tried them on but ended up getting a different pair of Badgley Mischkas (see attached). I normally wear an 8.5 and the 8.5 fit fine. You should be OK with the 7.5. Nordstrom carries these so you could always go try them on, then buy online (that is what I did!)

Future Mrs. B- Yeah a lot of the others I saw were about double this price too...I considered it for a while but in the end I knew I didn't wanna spend that much. The heels are perfect for me though, lol. I dance better in high heels haha.

I like the first ones better for a bridal look...I like the second pair for more of a non-bridal look! They're both cute shoes.

I like the second ones better, I'm not a fan of the chunky jewelry on the 1st.

Raelyn- Thanks for the info! Unfortunately there's only a Nordstrom Rack near me (Charleston, SC) and they don't have the styles I'm looking at :-/

I guess my only concern about the first pair is that they're more pewter than silver silver, you know? I haven't picked out my accessories yet but I don't think it'll be that tone.

I bought a pair on line and they fit too small. I wear a 6.5 and these were way too narrow. Mine we simple peep toe pumps. No broaches.

I love the first pair! I ended up getting the "lacie" in blue. I usually wear a 6 1/2 and got the 6, and they fit great. A little snug at first, but I'm breaking them in and they feel pretty comfortable.

I personally love the second one. I was debating getting those (in a different color) for day to day. But I kind of agree that they don't feel "bridal" to me. But, maybe they do for you?

Both are still lovely choices, so you won't be disappointed. I have a pair of Badgley Mischka's and they fit true to size for me, but I have pretty narrow feet. If you have wider feet, then I would probably go up a half.

I like the first one best too...I tried those on actually and they were soooooo tall, i couldn't even walk, lol Smiley smile The ones I ended up buying I felt ran true to size BUT I have a fairly narrow foot...so if you feel like your foot is wide, I'd go with a size or half size up. This is the style I bought...

I think the first pair is more "bridal"? because of the bling on the back. I love both pairs though.

What does your dress look like?

I love the first ones!!! I was set on getting them (in blue), but when I tried them on they were too high and I couldn't walk Smiley sad womp womp. But sizing was spot on. I'm an 8.5 normally as well as in Badgley Mischka. I was surprised because I kept reading about how they ran small in lots of reviews.

ETA Thanks for the tip about 6pm.com!

I think the first pair based on your dress. I love both shoes, but the second pair feel more summery/casual to me.

As someone with a wide foot, they didn't work for me at all. I even tried the Wide ones and they still didn't fit properly - they were too big if I went up half a size and the ones that were my size were too snug. I eventually gave up and settled on another pair. Beautiful shoes, though. I hope they work out for you!
