Bahamas July 2021

Chelsea, on February 23, 2021 at 7:13 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 7

This sounds crazy as we didnt want to travel out of the US but I got an amazing deal. Do you guys think I can get our passports and go to the Bahamas but mid July?

The island covid rules dont seem to strict besides taking a test. Has anyone gone recently?

Generally getting a passport takes around 3 months unless you pay extra for them to expedite it. Get it ASAP!

If you can get an appointment to get your passport in the next two weeks or so, yes!

Doesn’t sound crazy at all. This is probably the best time to go! Less people! the price is probably amazing! I would just try your hardest to make sure you don’t get sick at all because if you have to return home they may not let you on the plane, but other than that just wash your hands lol, usual stuff. I’m sure you’ll be fine and I’m sure you’ll have a blast!

Hmmm that’s a bit tight. I’ve heard due to a lot of federal staff shortage it may take longer. It’s tough to book something and then taking a chance. Good Luck

I would definitely make an appointment to get your passports ASAP. I know I had to update my license and the soonest appointment was a month out.

Are you working with a travel agent. Mine is the best she helped on of our guest for my destination wedding(Dominican Republic) get their passport sooner. Definitely make your appointment. You should have plenty of time. Just make sure you expedite it.

You can definitely do it. If you need your passport expedited, reach out to your congressman to help you do it (for free)
