Balloons in the wedding...Awesome or Tacky

Thinking about adding some balloons. See attached pictures. They will be Red, and I want them as large as this. I really like how they are coming up from the table. I don't want it to just be me blowing up a dozen balloons, but, I like how they look with the large ones. Thoughts? Yay or Nay? ...

Thoughts?

Yay or Nay?

I think it looks fine, but I agree, it seems like it be a logistic nightmare, and only possible if it's an indoor wedding without open windows, I breeze and I see them turning into a nightmare

The first thing I thought of when you mentioned balloons was a casual like party such as a birthday. However, upon viewing the pictures, I absolutely think it's great. Go for it!

As someone who worked with balloons professionally (I know how odd that sounds) I can assure you that those 3' ones don't pop on their own easily and I've never seen one indoors pop during an event. They also have a TON of pull (that's a lot of helium in there) and so even outside, they'll sway, but no one is going to get hit in the head. Trust me. The ones you posted are really beautiful if you have a high ceiling and want to visually take up the space. Have them at different heights and they mimic the look of lanterns but larger and smooth.

Also, @centerpiece, I highly doubt OP didn't know that balloons need helium to float. That's just silly. And the Dollar store will not inflate 3' balloons either.

The pictures are neat, but I really couldn't see it at a wedding. Maybe for a birthday, prom or baby shower, but then again, it's also not my wedding.

I tend to equate balloons with birthdays so I wouldn't do it unless the wedding was more casual

OBSESSED with these wedding balloons ! Classy and pretty. They worked out so wonderfully as the sunsets to create ambiance into the night.
