Overall everything went pretty dang smooth... we had one family cat fight (so embarrassing... oh my lord). But other than that no major emergencies.
The only little emergency I noticed was the DJ screwed up the music as I walked down the aisle, but ehh. Whatever! When it was all over I was thinking about it like “dude I literally gave you the seconds of the music... when to fade in and what not” but honestly who freakin cares. We didn’t have a videographer to capture it! 😂
Oh also... I had a very clear unplugged ceremony sign right in the entrance and I still had people take pictures 😑 I didn’t realize until they sent me the photos afterwards 😂 but whatever! I think it was only one person... but if you want an unplugged ceremony I would make sure there is an announcement made.
OH and ANOTHER THING... my MOH’s mother just came into the bridal suite before the ceremony because she “just had to see”. Like OMG NO THAT IS SO RUDE I CANNOT 😤 My MOH was like “omg mom get out” lol. But no, that is dang rude. I don’t care how long I’ve known you, if I don’t want visitors then I don’t want visitors.
he “big emergency”... my aunt tried telling my MIL how to seat my family 🤦🏼♀️ Basically our venue was all one room... the ceremony got flipped into the dance floor. Well there were only 60 seats for the ceremony and everyone else would have to sit at the reception tables (yeah I know, dumb) so my mom made sure my extended family knew their DINNER table number. My mistress of ceremonies told them they were able to sit up front ceremony space so they could actually hear, but apparently they didn’t listen. I guess they thought that was the table to sit at the whole time, so they just sat there and by the time they realized it the second row in the ceremony seating was taken by other guests. My aunt got pissed off and started trying to tell my MIL how things needed to go and freaked out about where my grandma was going to sit. What she didn’t know was were already had a plan for grandma and she was flipping her lid for no reason. I guess that is what happens when you don’t ask me about my wedding and any plans until they day of 🤷🏼♀️ So my MIL put her in her place 😬 My MIL was with me the ENTIRE planning process. From floral colors to the logistics of the day, so for my aunt to just come in on the dang wedding day and try to run the show (after they didn't listen to directions) was SO rude it makes me cringe. Sooo embarrassing to me.
But over all it was a great day! Besides the little cat fight 😂
