I've been reading your bams for a full year and its finally my turn!

My dress: $300 it was a bridesmaids dress I ordered in ivory at my local bridal shop
Guys outfits: $130 at h&m. The ties were $6 each from tie mart and perfectly matched the girls David's bridal dresses
Girls: David's bridal, quartz for color.

Venue: $1000 quail ridge lodge. Check out your local parks dept for cheap outdoor and indoor venues! The provided half of the tables [the other tables and their chairs were dark green, not my style]
Tables and chairs: $160 weinhardt rentals
Table decor: roughly $25 per table. Cookie jars, woven table cloths in the party section, table runners from efavor mart and I cut up a 6 ft long greenery garland from amazon. We had 12 tables.

We spent 3k between the food and DJ. Worth every penny.
I did self serve alcohol despite the entire forum community telling me not to. We spent $350 and had a ton left. (Sams, costco, walmart) and someone gifted us the coozies.

Paper products: $35 for programs and such. I used etsy for a template, Michael's for craft paper and the paper cutter and then printed on my 20 dollar printer LOL.
Invites came from minted: $180. The all in ones on craft paper.

Flowers: $45. Michael's and hobby lobby. Simple.

Cake: $50. A "frendor" made ours. 3 layer cookie cake. Cookes I spent $80 at walmart to fill all the jars on the tables. I have a tonnnnnn left.

Photographer was $750. Again broke rules and used a frendor... she gave us more than half off and she did a phenom job. (Some of the pics here are hers, some are families... I'm sure you can tell the diff.)

I tried my best to DIY and support all small businesses so if you want to know of any specific ones I'd be happy to direct you to them if you're local!

Your wedding looks so beautiful! Congratulations!

I have a question about your alcohol offerings. What types of alcohol did you have and roughly how much did you get? We are doing a backyard reception for about 100 guests and I'm struggling figuring out the alcohol budget and what types to get.

    Thanks!

A few things- Our venue did not allow hard liquor, they also did not want glass bottles. So keep that in mind.

I split our 350 3 ways and spent each third per store (sams, costco, walmart)

Then at each store I split it again- I got cases of beer (probably 6 or 8), xl bottles of wine, xl bottles of sangira (3) and 4 xl bottles of mixed margs. When I went to walmart I bought only things in cans. So sparkling seltzer, smirnoff drinks etc etc.
