AHHHH WE DID IT!!! ❤️ We've been engaged since 2017 and we have had to push back our wedding several times from covid. But finally we said "I DO" this October. We also were working with a small tight budget. Thankfully I love doing DIY's! 😊 Of course I walked down to "Can't help falling in love with you" 🍁
Alright, most decor is from Dollar Tree (literally all the floral, signs, lanterns, tic tac toe game, S hooks, make up). Stuff like the plates, silverware, table coverings, arch drapes, flower girl dress, flower girl jumpsuit, ties, hair flowers, press on nails, and veil are from Amazon. My dress is from Shein. We have a Sams Club membership and bought food from there (pulled pork, bbq sauces, buns, desserts, potatoes, pop corn, drinks). And the venue I found through a FB group, and on a weekday it was super cheap for a FULL day rental PLUS the day before we were able to set up and decorate. For music we just made some playlists and used a speaker. Hair for me and the flower girls (my daughters) and my make up were done free as a gift from my aunt who does hair and make up as a career.
Our wedding really only came together because my family was willing to pitch in and help on the actual day. My husband was a chef so he was in charge of any cooked food and is fully trusted. Below is the final break down then followed by pictures. Also we did not have a photographer, we just asked everyone to take pictures and videos with their phones, we aren't picky people and still got some good photos.
Venue: Altona Grange in Longmont Co. $500 for full day. But we get $250 deposit back since we cleaned it up. So total is $250.
