Bangs?

Mollie, on July 31, 2019 at 10:26 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 10

Hi friends!

I'd describe my fashion style as... lazy. Last summer, I finally decided to step up and cut bangs! I really liked them, but I didn't keep up with them, so they grew back out. I recently cut them again, and I still like them, but I'm not sure if I want to fully commit to them this time. I'm getting married next May, so they'll for sure grow out by then, but I'm just torn! The bangs aren't a part of my image, but they could be if I put the effort in. What do you think? Should I go with bangs or no bangs (on the big day and in general)?

You look great either way, but I'm gonna have to agree with PPs and vote no bangs.

You look great either way. I would take in account how you would want to do your hair on your wedding day. If you want to have bangs then it might have to change a little how you imagine your hair.

I'm always wearing bangs and I love them, but I'm growing them out for the wedding. They tend to overshadow the eyes and that's a no-go for my wedding photos. I need my eyes to pop! 🤩

I vote bangs! I also have bangs and I get so many compliments. You can incorporate bangs in a ton of wedding hair styles as well. I’m leaving them for my wedding because they’re a part of who I am lol. I have blunt bangs that are always even at the top of my eyebrow or the middles of them so they don’t cover my eyes.

Hey Mollie!! I absolutely love your glasses! They are so pretty!! 😍

You look great with both hairstyles, but it's important to make sure you feel comfortable and like yourself on your wedding day!

Have you thought about what hairstyle you would like for your wedding? Perhaps this would influence you?

You're in a really lucky position that you know that bangs suit you so you can decide in the weeks coming up to your wedding to cut them if you find a hairstyle that they will work with 😃

You look great with and without! I usually keep my hair shortish, but since I’m not sure how I want my hair yet, I’m letting it grow out (wedding next June). I figure it’s a lot easier to cut it before the wedding than to realize I want longer hair but be stuck with shorter hair. Maybe go that route-grow them out now and, if you decide you want them for the wedding, cut them then. That way you have both options.

For me. I personally vote bangs. They frame your face really nicely. However, it depends on how you'd style your hair WITHOUT the bangs too. It's up to you. You look beautiful either way, but I prefer with bangs. It just fits you like a glove. Smiley heart

I would go with whichever feels the most YOU! I think you pull off bangs really well, but you also look stunning without them. Maybe look at some wedding hairstyles with and without bangs and figure out which you like best of those, and then go from there.
