Barefoot or Yellowtail?

I don't have very many wine drinkers on my guest list. And the only wine drinkers are perfectly fine with drinking the cheaper brands. I'm actually pretty positive most of them just prefer beer but I'm making sure to get plenty of wine just in case. Like I said, my guests don't drink a lot of wine...

Like I said, my guests don't drink a lot of wine but if I ever do see them drinking any wine its either barefoot or Yellowtail. Which brand do you recommend I get?

I AM a wine drinker and I hate barefoot personally. One of our local wineries sells larger bottles at a cheap rate and there's just something about local wine! I'd suggest seeing if you can get a local wine in a similiar price range.

Barefoot over yellowtail but I'm kind of a snob so I don't buy either one. I've only had barefoot Moscato and it tastes like the welches sparkling grape juice.

Look at local wineries and wholesale stores to see if you can find something cheaper that's a bit nicer. Barefoot isn't the worst in the world but a wine drinker wouldn't lean towards it. If you don't have any wine drinkers then it would be fine.

Get which ever ones on sale at the time. They alternate. Also, get wine at Kroger on their 20% off sale if no Total Wine near you. If pharmacies sell alcohol also check out their prices and sales.

Do not wait to do this purchase until close in time or just randomly go to the store one day. This is an area, unlike DIY, where you can actually save hundreds of dollars with a little planning.

I'm not a big wine drinker but agree that if you won't have many you could upgrade for better wine or ask the ones coming what kind of wine the usually drink

I prefer Barefoot to Yellowtail. But I will drink almost anything if its Moscato, Rose', or Riesling. I'm a little pickier with red wines.

On a side note. I know people who have driven hours to a trader Joe's in order to buy their wines for large events. I've never had it but supposedly it's cheap and good?

The closest trader Joe's is an hour from me in Columbus and I've considered going just to get some wines to try, I just haven't gotten around to it. My Kroger has the 1.5L bottles of Barefoot on sale for $9.99 right now and if you buy 6 you get 10% off. So I'd basically be getting each case of wine for around $55-$60. I think that's a pretty good deal.

If you have a Whole Foods near you (the ones which sell wine) they have a great variety for very affordable price that are really good!

There's one I can't remember the name but it's always on sale for like$7 - is wish something can't miss it, they are very delicious: red and whites.

    Neither, but Yellowtail over Barefoot.

Make sure you don't just buy a bunch of sweet wines. Most wine drinkers I know wouldn't touch a moscato.

I personally don't prefer either, you can honestly get better for equally as cheap if not cheaper. As others have mentioned, Trader Joe's has amazing wine and it is ridiculously affordable. You can also find some decent ones at Whole Foods for around the same price point as Barefoot or Yellowtail. Would I drink either of them if that what was offered, yes because it's wine but there is definitely better for the same cost.

They're about the same, IMO. I love barefoot pink Moscato. I don't drink much white wine, but I assume they're probably the same

I've had both and don't have trouble drinking either. Usually if I'm picking between the two myself, I end up with barefoot
