Barn venue

Brittanyann, on January 28, 2020 at 12:53 AM Posted in Pennsylvania Planning 0 5
Hi! So we don’t have plans to have our wedding until year 2024.. but I still would love to check out some venues to have some ideas. I’m looking for reasonably priced barn venues in PA. Preferably no more than an hour-2 hours outside of Philly.
Thanks 💕

Welcome to the WeddingWire community, Brittanyann Smiley smile

You should check out the WeddingWire venue directory as part of your search. It’s possible to filter by venue type (e.g. barn) along with location so it makes it a great tool for searching for something that fits your vision - Philadelphia Barn & Farm Wedding Venues.

On each venue's profile, you can check out photos, read previous couple reviews and get more information in general, along with reaching out directly Smiley smile

How many guests are you planning on inviting?

Check out the Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm in the New Hope area. We're getting married there in October and have been so happy we choose them. Their barn reception space is so beautiful. They have a fantastic chef and are all inclusive, so take that into account when looking at their pricing because you get the food, day of coordinator, tables/chairs, linens, bartenders, server, ceremony space, etc.. So you don't have to book separately for that stuff like you do at a lot of other barn venues. They are also BYOB which saves money too.

I was looking for the same thing! We booked Meredith Manor in Pottstown. It’s a beautiful venue and from what I’ve heard they do a wonderful job. We chose a Sunday so it’s a bit less expensive. Another venue we considered was Moyo in Schwenksville. That was actually my first choice but it was a little pricier. They do offer discounts for off season months. Good luck!

Check out JAM Caterings Website! They have multiple barn venues available that are all within the area. Working with them makes the process very easy since they are the caterer but also handle the venue interactions as well. They have multiple catering offerings, we are planning to use their bistro menu because it is a little more inexpensive and the options were just as delicious. They allow you to easily mix and match your menu with all the prices detailed out. Additionally, they are BYOB which is allowing us to save on cost there and enabling us to bring our favorites. Alcohol is normally priced per person and some members of our family don't even typically drink!
