Bartender

Andrea, on May 15, 2021 at 12:10 AM Posted in Planning 0 5
I am seeking a bartender due to a requirement of my wedding establishment. Is it normal to cost 1,000 plus I have to buy all the alcohol? Things just keep adding up.

It depends what’s included in that cost. Does it include more than one bartender? How many hours? Do they include cups, napkins, ice, mixers, etc.?

It depends on where you are at, I have to get my own bartender and they provide the alcohol and we are paying just over 2k

Our bartender cost is a bit higher than that. We’re in a HCOL area & it includes 3 bartenders, cups, ice, garnishes, setup, & breakdown.

That seems expensive. Most venues that I've considered do require a licensed bartender, but the rates are $25-$30 an hour, no more than $200 for the cocktail hour and reception. We'll be providing our own beer and hard alcohol, and the wine will be in-house if we choose a winery.
