My aunts threw me a lovely bridal shower. It was a lot of fun and I was lucky so many of my cousins came in town for it. It was fun to dress up and eat good food! They did a quiz game and a couple others.
My advice is to stay firm on not inviting people to the shower that aren't invited to the wedding. My mom INSISTED to have all of her friends and her own aunts there, and her friends ended up making a good chunk of the people there --- which meant I was sitting with them instead of my out of town cousins. And now it will make me look bad if I don't invite all these people who weren't invited to the wedding, even though I told my mom a million times how wedding etiquette works, I decided to stop fighting her on it. So this is where we ended up lol.
Anyway, it was a fun day! I'm so grateful that they did this, and I'm excited for the wedding!
