Bathroom Baskets

Might just be a minor detail but something I scrolled over to on Pinterest. I’m wondering if you guys are doing bathroom baskets? I haven’t been to a bathroom that has them but thinking it might be a nice touch? Or unnecessary? What would you put in yours?

I think it’s a great idea! I was actually also looking into doing this for our wedding. But luckily the venue we selected has all that provided in the bathrooms! Saved me a little bit of cash and time. I’ve been to weddings where they were provided and they were used.

It’s a great idea I have been to weddings with these. Our bathroom is really old and there is no counter so I’ll haveto figure something out 😬

We’re doing these! This is one of the projects my mom is in charge of, so I’m not sure exactly what she’s putting in them. But I know she found some great checklists online by searching “wedding bathroom amenity baskets”!

Also, ditto the concern about meds. My venue actually won’t allow us to put Tylenol and Tums in the baskets due to their liability insurance.

I went to a wedding were they had one, but hardly any of it was used. Most woman have what they need for a few hours in their purse. And guys don't care. I decided to skip this, but will make sure that my MOH has some pain and stomach over the counter meds in case someone needs it.

I've been to a few weddings with these. I've never actually used anything as I haven't needed to (and probably wouldnt unless it was a dire emergency) but I think they are a nice touch. Whenever I see one I kind of nod to myself and think "classy." It gives the impression that the couple really cares about the guests and has thought of all the little details to make sure they are comfortable.

Something like this is a great idea. Once I went to a wedding wearing new shoes that gave me a blister and I was grateful to use a bandage from one of these baskets!

I would like to have one of these also, including bandages, floss, breath mints, tampons, spray deodorant, hand wipes, hair ties, lotion, stain spray, antacids, Advil/Tylenol. I figure guests will be able to determine For themselves whether they have an allergy or sensitivity to OTC pain meds...

A mini sewing kit! I’ve seen many people use them at a wedding for small emergencies.

I’ve saw them at almost every wedding I’ve gone too and I had them at my wedding also!! From what I saw they definitely get used and everyone appreciates them!

I can see for some it being too much to worry about, which is totally fine as it’s not a necessity!

They have had them at a few weddings we have attended and I plan on doing them for our wedding because our reception is on our farm and it wont be simple for guests to run to guest services or the store if the need arisesSmiley winking

Will be including hand lotion, maybe a body spray, spray deodorant, sunscreen and bug spray (because it's a mostly outdoor event), tums, some sort of tylenol or advil, feminine products,

I’m makikg one! I just bought my products yesterday and I’m missing just a few things. I’m putting bandaids, mints, gum, toothpick, cough drop, Tylenol, Advil, eye drops, spray deodorant, gas relief, tums, anti-diarrhea, tissues, lotion, bug spray, roll linter, stain pain. For the ladies I added hairspray, Bobby-pins, hair elastic, nail file, pads, tampons, hair brush.
For medication, mints, gum and cough drop I bought single pack items. Having a bottle with Advil is not recommended so is better to have individual ones. I don’t know if people would use it or not but I rather have it there in case need it then don’t have it.

If your female guess are wearing panty hoes and get a run I recommend having clear nail polish in the basket. My sister had one for her wedding in the girls room idk about the boys but Kleenex was also an item she had. Idk if I will be able to as I am doing a destination wedding and with the traveling to bring unnecessary things.

I think this is a great idea. I would put some tums, spray deodorant, breath spray - things to help guests feel comfortable with eating/drinking/dancing all night.

Exactly! I normally carry a wristlet or clutch for weddings or when I’m out drinking/dancing so I don’t have all of the stuff I would in my normal purse. And I know people always ask for gum or floss lol

Oh nice! Hmm maybe I’ll double check with my venue to see if they provide these things! They’ve never mentioned it but I’ll ask to be sure. Thanks!
