Is it a destination wedding/are any of your guests traveling? If you have guests with kids who will need to travel, they may not want to come on October 30 because that would probably involve missing Halloween the next day with their kids (but if it’s not a destination wedding or no one has kids then it should be fine).

It is a destination wedding. Thanks for pointing that out because I did not think about that. Although, most of our friends children are very young so not sure if that would be a concern of theres.

Hey! Who did you go through for your wedding? Mine is in Destin on 3/30 and hasn't been cancelled. I just reconfirmed yesterday with all vendors as well.


As for weather, I'd choose November honestly. It'll be low 70's which is perfect for a wedding outside.

View Quoted Comment My planner is island sands beach weddings and our ceremony and reception is at Henderson beach state park. The state park canceled all events until May 15th and my planner said okaloosa county (Destin) has canceled all events until April 30th.

View Quoted Comment So far all of my vendors have said yes. We will see. 9 days out and I feel like anything can happen. It has dramatically dwindled in size. We don't care rhough bc we don't want to go through the hassle of rescheduling with all our vendors/friends/family.

No it's at a private venue on the bay. But we just were told that we would have to postpone today

It's still super hot in September so I'd go with October.
