Beach wedding grooms attire

Hey y’all! I’ll be having a beach wedding at the end of February. I’ve got my dress, it’s floor length and I’ll be barefoot. What should my fiancé wear? Our colors are navy and burgundy and we’ve been talking about a navy tux with burgundy accents but since it’s on the beach, will that look weird or like too much? Would some nice khakis and a button up be appropriate as well? I just want some opinions and past experiences, TIA

You could also do just a vest instead of a full suit with jacket

I think he could pull off navy. Maybe just a shirt and no jacket to tone it down a bit. We got married on the beach and I made my husband wear a tan linen suit.

My FW is wearing a full suit with bow tie to match the neckties our best men will be wearing. You can dress up or dress down for a beach wedding. It's all in what tone you want to set.

Hey Krissy!
Your FH could totally wear navy on the beach! If you wanted to tone down the formality of a tux, I think navy slack with a white button up is a great idea. Perhaps he could wear a burgundy tie or bowtie with it, or leave the necktie all together?
