Okay so I'm going to lead with: I LOVE details shots. I'm obsessed with them. They're some of my favorite parts of wedding photos.
I'm also going to lead with: I'm getting married on the beach, in the sand, and walking 10-15 minutes from the hotel to the beach (depending on where my rental company can unload, but also my dad may drive me, tbd). So I want shoes I know I can walk in.
I ordered these shoes from Dillard's, but I just don't love them. They aren't very me, even though I think they look nice with my (unaltered) dress. I also don't think they'll be very comfy.
I've decided I'm going to return the sparkly sandals, lean into my vibe and get some platform Teva sandals in a metallic silver color, then just hand these blue shoes to my photographer for details shots and maybe a getting ready shot or two. Is that completely ridiculous? If they hadn't been only $30 I would never have done it 😅
