Beach wedding shoes

I got married on the beach and opted to go barefoot during the ceremony. Afterward my reception was on a beautiful terrace at the hotel so I wore a 3” nude patent block heel (for a while), then I changed into white flip flops to dance. I had always wanted a beach wedding and not wearing shoes was so smart. Almost any shoe you try to wear in the sand will not work well, especially if you are wearing a long dress that could get caught up. The beach sandals are also super cute but I knew I would only have them on for 20 minutes then would have to change anyway and nobody would really see them. Good luck and enjoy your special day!

You could definitely get a cute pair of flip flops for your reception, but if you wanted something a little more sturdy, you could look into bridal sneakers! I’ve seen some beautiful Converse and Vans!
