Beachbound.com Honeymoon?

Hailey, on January 28, 2023 at 1:52 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 4

Looking at honeymoon packages (thinking beach, all-inclusive) and Costco was originally all I could find that was dependable. I just found Beachbound.com today and started digging through it and it looks like an amazing find for affordable, all-inclusive resorts that focus on the beach.

Has anyone had any experience with it? Didn't see on an initial forum search. We're not looking at honeymooning until November I think, so it's too early to even book anything through there, but I'd like to know if someone booked through them and how the experience was.

Thank you!

Some of the reviews on trustpiolit make it seem a little shifty. Delayed flights and issues with itinerary. Make sure to buy your own travel insurance no matter who you go with.

I am curious to see if others have used it.

I’ve never heard of it before. I know Expedia has travel packages, and often times, the resorts themselves will sometimes have package deals with flights that can be a little cheaper to. So I would maybe search Expedia and then price check the hotel website directly. That’s what I’ve done for several vacations.

Trustpilot and some other websites said to be wary of Beachbound, so we went straight to the source. Just booked our 6 night stay at all-inclusive Excellence Riviera Cancun in October (in a swim-up suite, the pool and a private lounge bed is right outside our back door) for $2250. We used promo code NEWESCAPE2023 if anyone is interested, valid for trips between August and December I think (off season). $375 a night including taxes and fees, free transportation to and from airport. Booked the flights straight from the airline, that way we don't have to deal with 3rd party problems if there's a delay or change of plan.

We get free cancellation with 100% refund up until 24 hours before check-in AND if you let them know it's your honeymoon when you book you get a free honeymoon upgrade with a handful of perks (special romantic dinner, champagne breakfast in bed, bottle of sparkling wine on arrival, etc.)! You just have to request it when you book.
