Beading my wedding dress

No tips, but it looks beautiful.

It looks beautiful! I'm getting married in October as well! I thought of doing it too but changed my mind and getting a petticoat made me feel 10 times better about my dress. My only tip would be maybe layout the design you want and then go from there. Good luck!

No, I havent been following any tutorial, but I can tell you I use a seedbead embroidery needle and nylon 001 thread! I have applique on my dress so I'm just enhancing the leaves... I have NO idea what I'm doing with the shoulders, but I did see a inspo pic for those! Let me see if I have it still!

I have all my big vendors paid for, dress in hand, bridal party is getting their stuff, and I STILL feel behind! No one told me I'd be this way when I said yes haha

That looks gorgeous! I have no advice to offer, though.

Looks great! I find beading work to really speed up when I use a thimble (like on one finger to stop the needle and more quickly restart the next stitch). My sister has offered to add some beading to my dress - we were thinking just partial beading, like on the inside of some flower clusters, symmetrically on either side, since we won't have too much time to work with.

No advice, but commiserating I am altering my heavily beaded dress, and resewing the beads takes forever. Just this section took several hours.

It looks great! Where did you get the beads? I wanted to add some beads to my dress but I wasn’t unable to find any decent looking beads in the stores near me.
